About The Position

As an Executive Sales Underwriter - Inland Marine, you will build and maintain relationships, drive written premium growth, and maintain renewal retention goals while delivering a high degree of customer satisfaction within assigned territory. You'll apply Underwriting, Sales, and Distribution Management skills to manage the overall book of business to achieve profitability goals. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent job-related experience.
  • 7+ years insurance underwriting experience.
  • 7+ years of monoline Inland Marine insurance underwriting experience.
  • Successful history of production underwriting.
  • Excellent relationship management and strategic sales acumen.
  • Ability to work independently in an entrepreneurial environment.
  • Strong collaboration, customer focus, and critical thinking skills.
  • Valid driver's license.

  • Manage account service, account management, and business development.
  • Build strong relationships with agency partners to drive profitable submissions.
  • Prepare for and conduct effective agency review meetings.
