About The Position

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Executive Sales Director to lead business development and sales initiatives across our portfolio of fashion publications, events, and experiential offerings. This highly entrepreneurial, relationship-driven role blends strategic leadership with hands-on execution. The ideal candidate is a well-connected industry professional with a strong network in fashion, beauty, and luxury lifestyle sectors and a proven track record in multi-channel media sales. You will drive revenue through innovative print, digital, event, and experiential programs while managing client relationships and collaborating across internal teams to deliver maximum value.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in business development, sales, or client leadership at the Director level or above
  • Experience in fashion media, publishing, or luxury lifestyle industries preferred
  • Proven ability to manage complex, multi-channel sales pipelines
  • Expertise in selling integrated media and experiential packages
  • Demonstrated success in expanding client bases and securing major accounts
  • Strong strategic, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

Responsibilities

  • Lead all sales and business development initiatives for core publications and events
  • Identify and secure new sponsors and advertisers across fashion, beauty, luxury, hospitality, and lifestyle categories
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads and key accounts
  • Oversee proposal development and pitch processes to ensure strategic and creative excellence
  • Partner with management to identify and convert organic growth opportunities
  • Define revenue targets, pricing structures, and forecasting models
  • Track and analyze pipeline performance, conversion rates, and revenue metrics
  • Drive expansion within existing client relationships
  • Design and deliver custom omnichannel marketing activations and branded programs
  • Develop integrated media packages including print, digital, content, and event sponsorships
  • Maximize client return on investment through innovative campaigns
  • Support refinement of market positioning and go-to-market strategy following the merger
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and client needs
  • Act as a brand ambassador at industry events, conferences, and forums
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing growth and sales team
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and performance
  • Partner with editorial, creative, events, and operations teams to ensure alignment
  • Ensure seamless execution from strategy to delivery
