Our Executive Recruiter contributes to the success of REI by attracting, sourcing and recruiting diverse pools of Director and above talent for current and future organizational needs. This job acts in a consulting role and is responsible for developing strategic pipelining, sourcing and recruitment strategies for internal and external candidates. The Executive Recruiter will partner with senior human resources and executive business leaders to define hiring needs, leveraging workforce planning, succession planning and candidate generation to fill openings and build proactive and confidential pipeline leadership benches. The Executive Recruiter will work closely with hiring managers, talent acquisition and HR Business Partners (HRBPs) and be a key partner to our executive leadership team, providing expert guidance and ensuring a seamless candidate experience. Lead all phases of sourcing, recruiting, and offer process for Director and above positions Partners with senior leaders to understand business priorities, organizational plans and talent landscape to develop talent strategies that meet current and future executive staffing needs Conduct thorough candidate assessments, present finalists to hiring managers, and consult on interview and hiring strategies Provide continuous pipeline of candidates for VP+ roles Develop and analyze recruitment metrics and trends to ensure effectiveness and continuous improvement Champion diversity and inclusion throughout the executive hiring process, fostering a diverse talent pipeline and promoting inclusive hiring practices Demonstrates deep understanding of negotiating and executive compensation structures (base, bonus, equity/long-term incentives, and sign-on/relocation) to support offer strategy and closing Applies an in-depth understanding of company and competitive intelligence, organizational structures to drive effective talent engagement and acquisition Select and manage recruitment firms, evaluating cost-benefit to control expenditures and maintain quality Manage and maintain a pipeline of executive referrals Supervise team members directly or indirectly as required within Talent Acquisition Partner and lead Talent Acquisition projects with the broader HQ recruiting team to drive strategic initiatives Demonstrate adaptability and a growth mindset to respond to changing needs Manage sensitive information with discretion across all recruitment activities
