About The Position

The Executive Protection Specialist is responsible for ensuring the safety, security, and well-being of executives, high-profile personnel, and their families. This role requires a high level of discretion, professionalism, and operational expertise in security, risk assessment, and emergency response. The specialist will work closely with corporate security teams, law enforcement, and intelligence units to mitigate risks and ensure seamless security operations.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5-10 years of executive protection, law enforcement, military, or private security experience, preferably in a corporate or high-profile setting.
  • Executive Protection Certification (e.g., from Executive Security International, EPI, or ASIS), CPR/AED/First Aid certification required.
  • Defensive driving, firearms training, and tactical medical training are preferred.
  • Strong situational awareness and threat assessment capabilities.
  • Excellent decision-making under pressure.
  • Proficiency in defensive tactics and de-escalation techniques.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to blend into various environments and remain inconspicuous when required.
  • Ability to travel extensively, often on short notice, including international assignments.
  • Must be available for on-call duty 24/7.
  • Familiarity with GPS tracking, surveillance equipment, and communication systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience protecting corporate executives, VIPs, or high-net-worth individuals.
  • Background in intelligence gathering, cybersecurity, or risk management.
  • Experience in operating in stressful environments.
  • Military experience in a combat arms occupational specialty.
  • Foreign language proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide close protection services to company executives and high-ranking personnel in various environments, including corporate offices, public events, and travel assignments.
  • Conduct risk assessments and threat analysis for executive movements, residences, and travel destinations, implementing proactive security measures.
  • Coordinate and oversee security logistics for domestic and international travel, including advance site surveys, secure transportation, and emergency response planning.
  • Develop and execute security strategies, contingency plans, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for executive protection.
  • Monitor open-source intelligence (OSINT) and coordinate with internal security teams to identify potential threats.
  • Provide rapid response to security incidents, medical emergencies, or unforeseen threats to executives.
  • Work with corporate security, law enforcement agencies, and private security firms to enhance protection measures.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality regarding executive movements, personal information, and company matters.
