The Executive Protection Specialist provides dedicated safety and close protection support for an assigned group of executives, which may include leading security during event and emergency situations as directed, with accountability to report on any incidents. Provides executive protection services including close protection, trip planning, advance work, driver services, corporate event coverage and security coverage for executive offices, external meetings and business trip settings. This role will include emphasis on corporate event security planning and coverage that involves conducting advance work, risk assessments, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a safe and secure environment. Conduct risk assessments to identify potential threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation strategies before corporate events, including geopolitical risks, local crime trends, and venue-specific concerns. Conduct security site surveys, assess risks, and develop detailed security plans for corporate events, meetings, and executive movements.

  • Undergraduate degree or relevant professional certifications.
  • 10+ years relevant experience in executive protection.
  • Prior Law Enforcement, Military, or Corporate Security experience.
  • Strong knowledge of security/counter surveillance measures.
  • Ability to obtain HR 218 certification preferred.
  • Skill in using computer applications including MS Office.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgement in making decisions.
  • Ability to interact with Executive Assistants and C-Suite executives.
  • An extensive network of law enforcement/security contacts.
  • Ability to use Smart phone and affiliated Applications.
  • Ability to work in team environments and independently.
