Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Executive Protection, Emergency Response Teams (ERT), PSD, or RST
  • Must pass Physical Readiness Test (PRT) & Meet and Greet prior to offer of employment
  • Executive Protection or Residential Security applicable academy or course
  • Pre-employment Background Investigation (BGI)
  • Random drug screenings
  • Must possess FOID and PERC cards
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Valid and current driver’s license
  • Valid U.S Passport
  • Showcase abilities and experience in security planning, emergency response, conflict resolution, team environments and understanding of Residential Security Technologies
  • Possess strong Written and Verbal Communication skills, Command Presence & Confidence in abilities to operate as a security professional
  • Team members must always maintain physical readiness to respond to an attack or hazard.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior ERT, military, or law enforcement providing physical security, emergency response, surveillance detection, secure transportation
  • Specialized training in incident response, emergency medicine, or crisis management
  • LEOSA/HR 218 permit or CCW valid for all 50 states
  • Exposed Firearm Permit (optional)
  • Current CPR certification

Responsibilities

  • Provide general observation of the clients' office suite, inspecting and ensuring physical security equipment is functioning properly to include door locks, security cameras, responding to security threats to include active shooter emergencies (within the Office suite)
  • Assist the local facilities management team with physical access control and monitoring of physical security systems
  • Provide written reports detailing any security incidents and maintain routine communication with Corporate Security and Facilities Management
  • Support protective service agents in the field and on campus as an active shooter response element. Agents can also support driving principles and as an advance agent.
  • Provide a security presence for Executives, while providing executives and staff with exceptional customer service.
  • Report safety concerns and potential hazards to the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC)/Security Control Room (SCR) and Global Security Protective Services Managers.
  • During emergencies, adhere to established GSPS protocol prioritizing the safety of the executive team, staff, and high-profile guests.
  • Protect employees, officers, directors, consultants, contractors, subcontractors and other third parties.
  • Protect assets including equipment, buildings, materials, products and raw materials, and proprietary information.
  • Initiate contact with unknown persons on the premises to determine their identity and intent.
  • Enforce company policy regarding guests and photography by restricting employees and visitors from lingering in sensitive, high-profile locations or taking unauthorized photographs.
  • Maintain clear succinct communication with team guests, staff, and the Protective Services team.
  • Conduct regular sweeps of the area with special attention at the beginning and end of each shift.
  • Complete accurate daily reports, monitor messenger threads, and live monitor camera.
  • Support visiting security teams when performing advance walkthroughs for future meetings.
  • Participate in advanced training to include defensive driver driving and executive protection.
