In this role you will focus on residential security providing security IT support along with handling physical security hardware and applications.

Requirements

• Must be open to working shifts and some holidays and weekends.
• Residential Security installations and maintenance of security systems.
• Must be able to maintain operational readiness of all technology which includes cameras, security software, AI programs, locking hardware for multiple properties.
• Proficiency with Windows platform, Outlook and Word.
• Proficiency with Google platform, Drive, Calendar and Docs.
• Level III private security license for the State of Texas or the ability to acquire the license.
• Working knowledge of complex residential security and fire alarm systems.
• Working knowledge of Genetec and Lenel.

Nice To Haves

• Five years of experience with one of the listed items- access control installation, video surveillance installation, or residential alarm installation.
• At a minimum, a basic understanding of executive protection.
• Some knowledge of cyber security and artificial intelligence (AI) tools and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Make periodic tours of grounds and buildings, examining access points to ensure properly secured.
• Manage and maintain security software and hardware systems.
• Interact and work with contract personnel that enter the properties.
• Monitor alarms, cameras and other security related equipment.
• Control access to multiple properties through gates and doors.
• Monitor and manipulate security technology.
• Write incident reports as needed.
