About The Position

Media Services is Vanguard’s in-house media production and post-production team. We deliver video, photography, audio, and live experiences you’d expect from a commercial production company, powering enterprise initiatives across advertising, branded content, social, PR, executive communications, and broadcast. The Executive Producer will lead a team of Producers to help drive outcomes for Marketing and Communications partners. This role will report to the Head of Media Services and will oversee end-to-end content creation in close collaboration with the Production Lead and Post-Production Lead, ensuring projects meet strategic objectives and creative standards. The Executive Producer will manage planning, scoping, production, delivery, and reporting while evolving workflows, vendor relationships, and technology to improve efficiency and quality. What you'll do: Leadership & Team Development Lead and coach Producers to deliver high-quality, multi-channel content aligned to business goals. Partner with Production and Post-Production leads to ensure seamless execution across all phases of content creation. Portfolio & Resource Management Oversee project intake, prioritization, and resource allocation across internal teams and external vendors. Maintain operational discipline in budgeting, scheduling, and vendor bidding practices. Production Excellence Guide Producers through pre-production, production, and post-production processes. Ensure compliance with brand standards, approvals, and regulatory requirements. Stakeholder Collaboration Support Marketing and Communications partners by translating objectives into actionable production plans. Build strong working relationships without assuming ownership of partner relationships (ultimate accountability remains with the Head of Media Services). Innovation & Process Improvement Drive adoption of new tools and workflows to enhance efficiency and creative output. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in studio operations. Requirements

  • 10+ years producing or executive producing for a brand, agency, production company, or consultancy.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality, multi-platform content.
  • Strong leadership and team development capabilities.
  • Expertise in end-to-end production processes and vendor management.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Project management methodology and project management platform skills.
  • Data driven reporting and insights.
  • Risk management.
  • Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Communications, Film, Media, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of eight years related work experience, with at least three years of media services experience.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Film, video production, or other creative arts degree preferred.
  • Graduate degree preferred.
