About The Position

The Executive Producer will manage all aspects of the News/Talk show production at iHeartMedia, ensuring the brand's integrity and competitive edge. This role involves overseeing content development, logistics, and team management to create engaging and relevant programming for diverse audiences.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience as a Radio Producer.
  • Knowledge of all social media platforms and proper execution.
  • Ability to generate original ideas and think creatively about communication.
  • Understanding of the radio market, different station/program styles, and audience demographics.
  • Excellent writing and storytelling skills.
  • Proven track record of motivating, coaching, and leading a team.
  • Full knowledge of the law, ethics, and industry regulations around radio production.
  • Excellent IT skills, including data handling, audio editing, and image manipulation software.
  • Ability to build rapport and draw information from people.
  • Confidence and tenacity when dealing with important decisions.
  • Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure.

Nice To Haves

  • Four year college degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Office applications, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all aspects of show production from beginning to end.
  • Protect and empower the brand.
  • Ensure the efficient use of resources.
  • Help develop and implement strategic plans, goals, and vision for the show/program.
  • Create and introduce new concepts and ideas, provide/solicit content and audience research.
  • Oversee the booking, scheduling, and managing of contributors and/or guests.
  • Develop/produce content, write scripts, plan and set the show schedule, and direct on-air talent.
  • Manage and direct show logistics.
  • Hold pre-production briefings for on-air talent, presenters, reporters, guests, and technical staff.
  • Respond to listeners' comments and/or suggested feedback.
