Waldorf Astoria is looking for an Executive Pastry Chef to join the team at our stunning Beverly Hills hotel! This luxurious, Forbes 5-Star property has 170 rooms, 6,300 square feet of banquet space, and 4 food and beverage outlets. This includes our signature restaurant, The Rooftop, Lobby Lounge, and In-Room Dining. In this role, you will oversee the hotel's pastry department managing a team of 10 and reporting directly to the Executive Chef. The ideal candidate will be an excellent culinarian and leader with a passion for creating unforgettable experiences, a talent for training and developing others, and the ability to drive and inspire creativity and innovation. This individual must thrive in high-volume, fine dining operations. At least three (3) years experience as a Pastry Chef with a background in luxury hotels is required. Prior union experience is a plus.
