About The Position
Redemption City Church is seeking an Executive Pastor to join their team in Daytona Beach, FL. This newly created role comes in response to the church's significant growth and aims to implement the church's vision while developing staff and ministry leaders. The Executive Pastor will oversee various departments, including administration, finance, operations, legal, risk management, and human resources, ensuring that the church's mission is effectively executed. This position is crucial as the church embarks on a capital campaign to raise $3.3 million for expansion, reflecting the church's commitment to growth and community impact. The Executive Pastor will serve as a second chair leader, collaborating closely with the Senior Pastor and the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to develop and implement strategic plans and goals. Responsibilities include managing day-to-day operations, budgeting, financial management, and overseeing ministry expansion programs. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and management abilities, excellent communication skills, and a solid foundation in theology and church ministry. They will also be responsible for fostering a healthy team culture and ensuring effective communication within the church staff and congregation. In addition to operational responsibilities, the Executive Pastor will assist in spiritual guidance and pastoral care, supporting campus ministries and facilitating adult discipleship programs. The role requires a candidate who is relationally strong, strategically gifted, and capable of building partnerships within the church and the broader community.
