About The Position
The Office of Executive Inspector General for the Illinois Comptroller (OEIG) is seeking applicants to fill an investigative internship position for the Summer 2025 term. The OEIG ensures accountability in state government by functioning as an independent, non-partisan state agency with responsibility, pursuant to state law, to investigate allegations of fraud, waste, abuse, and misconduct. The OEIG investigates, when appropriate, alleged violations of law, rule, or regulation committed by an employee of, or those doing business with, an entity under its jurisdiction. This position will be paid and is a non-remote position.
