About The Position
The Executive Housekeeping Manager at Spring Mill Inn is responsible for overseeing the daily housekeeping operations to ensure that the hotel maintains high standards of cleanliness and guest service. This role is crucial in delivering outstanding guest experiences while also focusing on financial profitability. The manager will lead a team to maintain the cleanliness of guest rooms, public spaces, restrooms, offices, and banquet/conference rooms, ensuring that all areas meet the established quality standards. The position requires effective scheduling of staff based on occupancy forecasts and maintaining open communication between associates and management to foster a positive work environment. In addition to managing daily operations, the Executive Housekeeping Manager will conduct monthly linen inventories, create and document deep cleaning schedules, and oversee room inspections. The role also involves recruiting, interviewing, and training new team members, as well as monitoring and developing existing staff performance through evaluations and recognition programs. The manager must be able to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and enforce cleanliness standards across all aspects of the hotel. This position may require working afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays, and individuals may be required to wear a uniform provided by the Indiana State Park Inns.
