About The Position

An Executive Housekeeper oversees the housekeeping department in a hotel, ensuring cleanliness, staff management, and operational efficiency.The Executive Housekeeper is a critical leadership role in hotel operations, responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, managing staff, controlling budgets, and coordinating with other departments to enhance guest satisfaction. Success in this role requires a combination of strong leadership, organizational skills, attention to detail, and hospitality knowledge.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 3–5 years in housekeeping or supervisory roles within the hospitality industry.
  • Leadership and organizational skills: Ability to manage teams, delegate tasks, and maintain operational efficiency.
  • Knowledge of cleaning practices: Familiarity with sanitation standards, chemicals, and equipment.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage housekeeping staff: Recruit, train, schedule, and evaluate employees, ensuring high performance and adherence to hotel standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and presentation: Ensure guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces meet health, safety, and aesthetic standards.
  • Develop and implement cleaning protocols: Create schedules, standard operating procedures, and quality control measures to maintain efficiency and hygiene.
  • Inventory and supply management: Monitor and order cleaning supplies, equipment, and linens, ensuring proper stock levels.
  • Coordination with other departments: Work closely with front desk, maintenance, and food & beverage teams to address guest requests and operational needs.
