About The Position

JOB SUMMARY Direct and control Housekeeping, and Maintenance department operations and staff. Ensure Aqua-Aston Hospitality service and cleaning standards are met. Manage financial planning and control expenses. Valid driver's license may be required with at least one year of clean driving history. Salary range $58,000 - $62,000 w/bonus plan CANDIDATE PROFILE Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent. Post high school education or training preferred. Must communicate in the English language (written and oral) to the understanding of customers, guests, and co-workers. 5 or more years’ experience in Housekeeping Administration. CEH designation preferred. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Direct departmental efforts to recruit, train, employ, and evaluate housekeeping, maintenance, and laundry workforce. Coordinate administrative duties with supervisory staff. Prepare and administer approved budget for department(s). Monitor and maintain inventory control and related costs. Direct purchasing of all cleaning supplies/materials through prescribed methods to ensure good quality, low cost, and availability. Develop and maintain outside vendor contacts. Establish and coordinate cleaning standards and procedures. Lead by example. Establish; maintain; and train team to ensure workplace safety standards. Prepare guest and/or employee incident reports following proper company procedures. Comply with company policies, OSHA requirements and applicable guidelines and laws. Maintain high company standards to meet guest/owner satisfaction. Deal effectively with a high volume of tasks and guest requests. Resolve guest and employee issues appropriately. Problem solve/innovate solutions for routine and complex department tasks and challenges. Requirements
