Executive Housekeeper

About the position

The Hampton Inn & Suites Lake Placid, managed by Essex Hotel Management, is currently seeking a dynamic Executive Housekeeper to join our team. The Executive Housekeeper will be responsible for ensuring that our guests have a clean and comfortable stay. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures
• Train and supervise housekeeping staff
• Ensure that all guest rooms and public areas are clean and well-maintained
• Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
• Respond to guest requests and complaints in a timely and professional manner
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment for staff and guests
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience as an Executive Housekeeper or similar role
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
