About The Position

Hotel Equities, a multi-award-winning hotel development and hospitality management company, is currently searching for a remarkable Executive Housekeeper for the Fairfield Inn & Suites Denver Southwest - Lakewood in Lakewood, Colorado. The Executive Housekeeper plays a crucial role in maximizing customer satisfaction by ensuring that customer rooms are neat and clean through effective supervision, direction, and coordination of the housekeeping staff. This position requires a warm, knowledgeable service approach to reassure guests that they have made the right choice in staying at the hotel. The Executive Housekeeper supervises room cleaners to ensure prompt and efficient housekeeping of customer rooms. This includes checking room cleaners' worksheets at the end of the day to confirm that all rooms have been cleaned and notifying the front desk accordingly. The role also involves inspecting all check-out and stay-over rooms after they are made up to ensure they meet company standards. The Executive Housekeeper keeps records of room checkouts and stay-overs, submits these records to housekeeping daily, and monitors the quality of rooms by conducting and documenting inspections of cleaned rooms. In addition to these responsibilities, the Executive Housekeeper prepares maintenance work orders for the replacement or repair of furniture and fixtures, ensuring completion by following through on orders. The position requires ongoing checks of room statuses and communication with room cleaners regarding any changes. The Executive Housekeeper also coordinates the cleaning of guest rooms based on customer requests, prioritizing VIP rooms and expected check-outs. Daily checks of floor linen closets for cleanliness and adequate supplies are also part of the role, along with ensuring that carts are properly stored and vacuum cleaners are emptied at the end of each day. The Executive Housekeeper assists in the quarterly inventory of all linen and ensures safety by keeping all linen chutes locked at all times. Coordination with related departments such as the front desk, engineering, banquet services, and room services is essential to facilitate increased levels of communication and guest satisfaction. The Executive Housekeeper is responsible for training and directing new department associates and ensuring compliance with all housekeeping quality standards and company policies. This role is vital in maintaining high levels of guest expectations while achieving optimal levels of revenue.
