Executive Household Manager

Sage HausPrinceton, NJ

About The Position

We are a family of four in Princeton, NJ, with two children who will be in college this fall, leaving us as empty nesters. One parent has a high-pressure career, involving significant travel (30-50% of the time) and working from home the remaining 50%. The other is preparing to start a photography business and will be at home full-time. We live in a spacious home that reflects our attention to detail and aesthetic. We take great pride in having everything in its place. We love to entertain and appreciate having a home that is always “company ready”— neat, organized, and impeccably maintained. Our two Maine Coon cats are very much part of the family, and we need someone who can care for them as part of overseeing the household operations. We’re looking for someone professional, proactive, and dependable who can manage daily cleaning, seasonal maintenance, and everything in between with minimal direction. Having the time and mental space to focus on our work and personal interests is incredibly important to us. Additionally, we need someone who can take charge of the household (and cats) and ensure everything runs smoothly while we travel. We are looking for a reliable, kind, and caring individual who can seamlessly manage the household and maintain a pristine, guest-ready environment. You should be organized and detail-oriented, with a genuine desire to take pride in your work and consistently do a good job. You are someone who is proactive and takes initiative, seeing what needs to be done—whether it's organizing the sock drawers or handling seasonal tasks—without needing to be told. We appreciate someone who is professional, discreet and stays out of the way, taking care of tasks quietly and efficiently without disrupting the household flow. Most importantly, we want someone who cares about doing a great job and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and organization.
