Feed Northland Kids (FNK) is dedicated to serving food-insecure youth in Clay and Platte counties, Missouri. Through strong partnerships with schools, volunteers, and community organizations, FNK provides critical nutrition to children and families via 50 in-school pantries and its Community Food Kit (CFK) program, which delivers shelf-stable items, fresh produce, protein, and milk to feed entire families. Founded in 2009 and incorporated as a standalone nonprofit in 2013, FNK has become a trusted leader in addressing food insecurity in Kansas City’s Northland. With an annual budget exceeding $650,000, FNK is poised for continued growth and innovation to meet the needs of the community. Overview of the Role: Feed Northland Kids seeks a dynamic and mission-driven Executive Director to lead the organization into its next chapter of impact. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director serves as the chief executive and primary fundraiser, responsible for advancing FNK’s mission, vision, and financial sustainability. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution, overseeing operations, managing staff and volunteers, and serving as FNK’s public ambassador. Approximately 65–70% of the ED’s time will focus on fundraising and resource development, with the remainder dedicated to program oversight, community engagement, and organizational management. If you are a relationship-driven leader with a talent for fundraising and a commitment to community impact, we invite you to join us in building a stronger, healthier Northland.
