About The Position

We are seeking a hands-on, experienced Executive Director to be responsible for directing and managing all day-to-day functions of the facility, ensuring continuous compliance with all governing laws and regulations to provide the highest quality guest care. Key duties include financial oversight (budgeting and reviewing statements), personnel management (hiring, training, discipline), and operational management (policy implementation, facility inspections, and delegation of authority). The Executive Director acts as the main representative to the governing board, outside agencies, and the community.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Health Care Administration, Business Administration, Finance, a clinical specialty, or equivalent long-term care experience.
  • Must hold current Nursing Care Institution Administrators and Assisted Living Facility Managers licensure.
  • Successful attainment of a fingerprint clearance card through DHS.
  • Minimum of two (2) years' experience as a licensed Executive Director or Administrator in a Long Term Care (LTC) facility.
  • Must demonstrate outstanding verbal communication, customer-focus, excellent judgment, and the ability to work under pressure, projecting a friendly and professional image.
  • Familiarity with computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

  • Direction & Compliance: Lead all facility operations while ensuring strict adherence to federal and state regulations and quality care standards.
  • Financial Health: Prepare the annual budget, interpret financial statements, and ensure cost-effective resource management.
  • Personnel Oversight: Oversee all employment decisions (hiring, discipline) and ensure adequate staffing and training.
  • Policy & Quality: Implement and interpret policies; conduct facility inspections; and manage surveys/plans of correction.
  • External Relations: Act as the official representative to the governing board, government agencies, and the community.
  • Maintenance: Ensure the building and grounds are well-maintained.
