About The Position

With the Direction of the Leadership Team, the Executive Director (ED) will have overall strategic and operational responsibility for staff, programs, expansion, and execution of its mission. ED will have a deep understanding of the communities we serve and proactively develop core programs, operations, and business plans to meet those identified needs. The ED will be an essential partner in the agency’s strategic plan to support people living with co-occurring disorders and their families while providing person centered services and building a strong and healthy community-based network. ED will help manage budget and finances, coordinate grant applications, administer funded grants and make public and media appearances in support of our mission.

Requirements

  • Effective communicator and experience as a community spokesperson
  • Proven success in collaboration, and working across multiple functions
  • Experience interpreting data, monitoring results, taking corrective actions, and creating productivity enhancements
  • History of identifying, recruiting, developing and retaining staff and volunteers, building alignment and achieving goals around the strategic priorities.
  • Proven ability to lead implementation across a spectrum of cross-functional initiatives.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills
  • Superior management skills with ability to troubleshoot, resolve differences, and ability to gain wide-spread support in the course of managing programs
  • Knowledge and experience in all aspects of operations, including staff supervision and development, quality program development and implementation, facility and property management and sound financial practices.

  • Detail oriented, adaptable, organized and able to successfully manage multiple projects and tasks.
  • Displays passion, idealism, integrity, positive attitude, mission-driven, and self-directed.
  • Directs and supervises the assigned residential and outpatient programs to assure sound operations
  • Ensures the operational growth through program expansion, member recruitment and retention, strategies, and collaborations.
  • Identifies potential areas for programming to accomplish agency goals, and works with staff groups to develop and implement programs.
  • Fosters a climate of innovation to develop person served focused programs and leads staff in the planning, development and implementation of new program initiatives and activities
