EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR – Wilson Care, Chicago, IL - Must be a LCPC, LCSW, PhD Psych or Social Work Wilson Care, a Specialized Mental Health Rehabilitation Facility (SMHRF) on the Northside of Chicago, has an Immediate Opening for a Dynamic Executive Director. Requirements

  • Licensure for a LPHA, (LCPC or LCSW or LMFT) plus 2 years management experience, and at least 1 year of experience with serious mental illness in a residential setting.
  • Residential treatment experience in a psychiatric facility
  • Demonstrated management skills of a large and diverse team
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship building skills

Responsibilities

  • Oversee management of operations, clinical services, and environmental function of a large Specialized Mental Health Rehabilitation Facility
  • Full responsibility for all aspects of treatment and clinical outcomes of individuals with primary psychiatric disorders
  • Direct the hiring, training and activities of the medical, nursing, technical, clerical, laundry, housekeeping, maintenance, social service, activity and volunteer staff
  • Fiscal responsibility: Optimize reimbursements, Administer budgets and ensure profitability
  • Facilitate meetings with staff, families and consumers
  • Participate with local Ombudsman Office, Illinois Department of Public Health, and local Health Department in delivery of long-term healthcare with excellence
  • Partner with consultants within SIR Management to achieve positive outcomes and manage projects within clinical and operational departments
  • Comply with all policies of the Illinois Department of Public Health, the Joint Commission, Occupational Health and Safety Administration, Centers for Disease Control, and other regulatory bodies to ensure safe and quality care
