About The Position

The primary purpose of the Executive Director is to manage all administrative, clinical and financial affairs of the Center at Lincoln and to ensure the well-being of each patient, while following the current federal, state and local standards. Our Centers serve patients needing physical rehabilitation and/or complex nursing care. Our highly qualified, caring staff provides care in a beautiful, hotel like atmosphere to help our patients to achieve strength and functionality. Skilled-nursing care, family involvement, psychological care and discharge planning complement a well-rounded, individualized program and encourages each patient’s transition to their highest functional level. With state-of-the-art equipment and unparalleled comfort and amenities, our physician-driven care plan is designed to maximize the quality of our care.

Requirements

  • Must be a licensed Nursing Home Administrator
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a license in Colorado
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a leadership position in skilled nursing facility-proven track record of positive survey results is a plus
  • Must be self-motivated and have excellent follow-through
  • Have the ability to multi-task and keep a calm demeanor even in chaotic situations
  • Must be able to maintain confidential information
  • Be a champion of positivity and high morale

Responsibilities

  • Plan and direct operations to ensure the highest quality and standards are being met for care and services
  • Responsible for fiscal planning, budgeting, and management; solve financial and quality control related issues
  • Responsible for passing all state and regulatory inspections
  • Ensure adequate and appropriate staff resources are available to meet the care needs of patients; employing and retaining quality staff
  • Make daily routine inspections of the facility to ensure that established policies and procedures are being implemented and followed
  • Assist department directors in the development, use and implementation of departmental policies and procedures and professional standards of practice
  • Provide independent decision making and be able to manage people in a motivational and constructive way; ability to deescalate stressful situations
  • Interpret the facility’s policies and procedures to employees, patients, family members, visitors, government agencies, etc. as necessary; annually review policies to ensure that are in line with any changing regulations
  • Demonstrate an excellent work ethic, good people management skills, ability to perform well under pressure
