About The Position

Vetter Senior Living is seeking an Executive Director to lead our senior living campus in Springfield, Missouri, which includes The Manor at Elfindale Skilled Nursing, Creekside Assisted Living, and Creekside Independent Living. This is a unique leadership opportunity for a seasoned, mission-driven professional who is passionate about creating exceptional environments for residents, community members, families, and team members. The Executive Director will oversee all campus operations and will also serve as the Administrator for Creekside Assisted Living and Independent Living, ensuring regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and a culture rooted in dignity, compassion, and service. Requirements

  • Proven leadership experience in senior living, healthcare, or campus-style operations
  • Experience overseeing multi-service environments (Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living, Independent Living preferred)
  • Strong operational, financial, and people leadership skills
  • Ability to balance high standards, regulatory excellence, and a warm, people-first culture
  • Assisted Living Administrator licensure (or ability to obtain) in Missouri
  • Proven leadership skills, the ability to build relationships in and outside of the facility, and strong working knowledge of skilled nursing care operations and regulations.
  • Ability to coach and provide superior leadership and direction.

Responsibilities

  • Provide executive leadership and oversight for Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living, and Independent Living continuum operations across the campus
  • Ensure alignment with Vetter Senior Living's Mission, Vision, and Values in all decisions and daily practices (Integrity, Excellence, Teamwork)
  • Partner with clinical and operational leaders to achieve strong outcomes in quality, compliance, customer satisfaction, and financial performance (Stewardship)
  • Serve as the Administrator for Creekside Assisted Living and Independent Living
  • Ensure compliance with all state regulations and licensing requirements
  • Create a living environment that promotes independence, dignity, safety, and quality of life (Quality Life)
  • Build, mentor, and support a strong leadership team across the campus
  • Foster a culture where team members feel valued, supported, and empowered to do their best work (Excellent Teams, Serving)
  • Model servant leadership and set clear expectations for performance, accountability, and compassion
