The Executive Director is responsible for enhancing and improving the SRI experience, specifically in Artful Dining, Zestful Activities, and Heartfelt Care. This role involves the organization, planning, and daily operations of the IL/assisted living and/or memory care community. The Executive Director directs and supervises associates, manages the community's overall budget, and oversees HR operations including staff performance, compensation, recruitment, training, and compliance. The position requires demonstrating SRI's core value of the Golden Rule, applying concepts of excellence in customer service, making sound decisions, and motivating associates. The Executive Director is also responsible for resolving resident/family/associate concerns, ensuring timely completion of resident services and documentation, and acting as essential personnel during emergencies, requiring availability during off-shift hours and providing hands-on care as needed. Maintaining a safe and secure working environment and complying with HIPAA regulations are also key aspects of the role. This position also carries out supervisory responsibilities across all departments, including interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning work, appraising performance, rewarding, disciplining employees, addressing complaints, and resolving problems.
