Chippewa Valley Habitat for Humanity is a dynamic and rapidly growing nonprofit organization dedicated to building strength, stability, and self-reliance through affordable homeownership. Serving the Chippewa Valley region, we work in partnership with volunteers, donors, and local families to construct and renovate homes for those in need of safe, decent, and affordable housing. By offering no-interest loans and requiring sweat equity from homeowners, we empower families to achieve financial independence and build a secure future. Our organization currently has a dedicated team of 4 full-time and 5 part-time staff, supported by over 475 committed volunteers. With an approximate $2 million annual operating budget, we are well-equipped to make a significant impact in the community. In addition to our home construction efforts, we operate a retail store that sells donated building materials, furniture, and home goods. This store not only provides affordable items to the community but also generates crucial revenue to fund our housing projects. Chippewa Valley Habitat for Humanity is deeply committed to fostering community partnerships, advocating for affordable housing, and ensuring that every person has a decent place to live. Through the collective efforts of our staff, volunteers, donors, and community members, we continue to make a lasting and positive impact on the lives of families across the Chippewa Valley.
