Requirements

  • High school diploma required. College credits or degree preferred.
  • RHA, LNHA, HFA preferred (required in some states).
  • Must satisfy state experience requirements to include licensure or credentials to run a senior living community.
  • Experience in managing a program or community in senior living preferred.
  • A minimum of three to five years of leadership experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the community leader and is responsible for the financial, human resource and operations management of the community.
  • Assure implementation of policies and procedures relating to Resident care.
  • Supervise and assist in provision of all Resident services, including the coordination of those provided by independently contracted ancillary health care providers as requested by Residents and families.
  • Supervise recruiting, interviewing, hiring, evaluating and disciplining Community Team Members.
  • Assist with the development and implement sales/marketing plans with the Director of Sales and the Sales team to accomplish occupancy targets.
  • Coordinate maintenance standards of the Community, Resident units, common areas and adjacent grounds with the Maintenance Director, according to the Company policy and state requirements.
  • Manage, coordinate and direct all activities in accordance with state and applicable federal regulations, as well as Community policies and procedures.
  • Operate with resources provided, assure income and expenses are controlled using annual budget projections.
