About The Position
The University of Memphis seeks an innovative leader to serve as its next Executive Director of the Lambuth campus in Jackson, Tennessee. The Executive Director serves as the chief administrative and operating officer of the Lambuth Campus and will report to the Executive Vice President, Chief Operating & Financial Officer at the Memphis Campus for all matters other than Academic Affairs. The Executive Director will report to the Provost for academic matters and will work with other leaders within the Division of Academic Affairs, including college deans, vice presidents and department chairs to support the recruitment and retention of students and continuity of academic programming on the Lambuth Campus. The Executive Director will oversee and manage various staff on the Lambuth Campus and will be responsible for all aspects of campus operations to ensure effective delivery of programs. Candidates must have demonstrated significant achievement in leadership and administration. Higher education experience is preferred. The Executive Director should embody a collaborative, transformative change-agent approach, with an entrepreneurial mindset and be committed to shared governance and transparent communication.
