About The Position

The Executive Director of Talent Acquisition will lead and oversee the talent acquisition strategy and operations for the organization. This role is responsible for developing and executing innovative recruitment strategies that attract top talent across all business units. The Executive Director will work closely with the Vice President, Chief Talent and Diversity Officer, as well as other leaders to understand workforce needs, ensure the hiring process aligns with the company's goals, and drive initiatives that promote a positive candidate experience. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, strong leader, and have a deep understanding of recruitment best practices and the talent market.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, with at least 5 years in a leadership or senior management role.
  • Proven track record in developing and executing large-scale recruitment strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment technology platforms, applicant tracking systems, and HRIS.
  • Experience with employer branding, candidate experience, and diversity recruitment strategies.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze recruitment metrics and use insights to drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy that aligns with the company's long-term business goals and objectives.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and development to the talent acquisition team, ensuring high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with senior leadership to understand workforce needs, talent gaps, and future workforce planning.
  • Oversee the recruitment process to ensure that the company attracts and hires top-tier talent across various roles, departments, and locations.
  • Ensure consistent and effective utilization of recruitment technologies, systems, and tools to enhance candidate sourcing, applicant tracking, and onboarding.
  • Establish and maintain efficient, scalable, and effective recruitment processes, policies, and practices to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.
  • Drive employer branding efforts to position the organization as an employer of choice in the talent market.
  • Oversee the candidate experience from initial contact through hiring and onboarding, ensuring a seamless, engaging, and positive journey for all candidates.
  • Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to promote the company's culture, values, and career opportunities.
  • Lead diversity and inclusion efforts in the recruitment process, ensuring that the talent pipeline is diverse and inclusive.
  • Develop and implement strategies to attract underrepresented talent, ensuring diversity is a core component of recruitment practices.
  • Monitor and report on diversity metrics and use data to inform decisions and improvements.
  • Define, track, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for recruitment, including time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, candidate quality, and diversity metrics.
  • Leverage data and insights to continuously improve the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and processes.
  • Provide regular reporting to senior leadership on talent acquisition performance, trends, and recommendations.
  • Work closely with HR, business leaders, and hiring managers to understand hiring needs, define job specifications, and develop job descriptions.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and consultant to leadership on talent acquisition trends, market intelligence, and best practices.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external recruitment agencies, universities, and other talent sources.
  • Develop and manage the talent acquisition budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
  • Continuously evaluate and optimize the use of external vendors, agencies, and job boards to ensure cost-effective sourcing and recruitment.
