About The Position

The Executive Director of Scouting and Player Personnel for Nevada Football is a strategic leadership role focused on player evaluation, recruiting operations, and roster management. This position collaborates closely with the Head Football Coach to implement the program's vision, assess current roster needs, and scout potential talent from various sources. The Executive Director is responsible for analyzing player performance, building relationships with key stakeholders, and providing strategic recommendations to enhance the team's talent acquisition efforts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and four (4) years of related professional work experience; OR a Master's Degree and two (2) years of related professional work experience.
• Experience in analyzing player data at various levels.
• Previous experience in football, either as a player, coach, or scout.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical support in player evaluation and recruiting operations.
• Oversee personnel and recruiting staff for Nevada Football.
• Assess the current roster and identify player personnel needs.
• Scout potential talent from high schools, junior colleges, and the transfer portal.
• Analyze player tapes to evaluate performance.
• Cultivate strong relationships with coaches, NFL scouts, and other stakeholders in talent acquisition.
• Offer strategic roster recommendations to the Head Coach.
