About The Position

The Executive Director of Quality Improvement at YMCA of Delaware is responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive quality improvement plans that align with organizational goals and educational standards. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university in early childhood education, elementary education, human services, social services, recreation, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in education or childcare with a focus on continuous quality improvement or program evaluation.
  • In-depth understanding of early childhood education principles, quality improvement frameworks, and relevant regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement comprehensive quality improvement plans that align with organizational goals and age-appropriate education standards.
  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations of programs to measure quality, effectiveness, and compliance with established standards and regulations.
  • Develop and facilitate training programs for staff on best practices in youth development, education, quality improvement methodologies, and regulatory compliance.
  • Collect, analyze, and report data related to child development outcomes, program performance, and stakeholder feedback to the VP of Youth Development.
  • Work closely with Youth Development teams, staff, and community stakeholders to promote a shared vision of high-quality childcare services and initiatives.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures that support quality improvement efforts and ensure compliance with licensing requirements and accreditation standards.
