About The Position
Nomura Asset Management International’s (NAMI) Investment Grade Private Debt team invests across infrastructure debt, corporate credit, and asset-backed finance solutions on behalf of NAMI’s institutional client base and is a leading investment platform with $16 billion in AUM. This team combines deep industry experience in investment grade infrastructure and corporate debt markets with highly dynamic opportunities to grow the business. The team is seeking an Executive Director with deep expertise in structuring and originating credit investments in the infrastructure and corporate private placement markets. Your role will be in sourcing, analyzing, and monitoring credit investments across a global issuer universe. You will be a key member of the origination and portfolio management effort on behalf of our clients and a valuable contributor to the growth and success of the platform.
Requirements
- 10+ years' related experience
- MBA or CFA preferred
- Experience originating and underwriting transactions across a broad spectrum of infrastructure sectors, including renewables, energy and energy transition, digital infrastructure, transportation and social infrastructure, or a demonstrated history of originating opportunities in industrial markets and aptitude for expanding investment capabilities into new sectors.
- Highly numerate and possess skills in all aspects of credit and financial analysis, covering both transaction execution and ongoing portfolio management.
- Demonstrable experience sourcing new investment opportunities and building relationships with borrowers, sponsors and advisors.
- Experience leading and developing deal teams, and preferably also client relationship management and fundraising.
