JOB PURPOSE: Oversees and manages the day-to-day operations of the Foundation, ensuring operations are in sync with strategy. Takes a leadership role in the establishment of performance indicators, and monitoring of performance against goals. Oversee the approval and processing of revenue and expenditure documents, department budgets, and account maintenance and data entry. Develops & maintains systems, tools & resources to support both pre & post-award gift & grant activities. Develops and administers Foundation operational and administrative policies, standards and practices. Leads or consults with physicians & staff to maximize external funding for research and non-research activities. Manages a diverse portfolio of federal & non-federal grants & ensures compliance with sponsor & Piedmont policies.
