The Executive Director of Performance Development and Consumer Experience Strategy will lead the integration of matrixed functions to drive cultural transformation, operational performance outcomes, and preeminent patient and consumer focused care. The Performance Development function includes all aspects of performance management including leadership onboarding education as well as continuing education to support performance excellence. The Performance Development function also includes oversight of performance management systems, processes, and associated performance tools and cultural engagement strategies. The Consumer function includes Consumer Strategy/Initiatives, Consumer Operations (including AdventHealth Medical Group-South Contact Centers), and the Experience of care delivered by team members and physicians/providers. The Executive Director of Performance Development and Consumer Experience Strategy will support the aforementioned functions across Central Florida Division South AdventHealth Medical Group and Ambulatory Services (Sports Medicine & Rehab, Outpatient Lab, Outpatient Imaging, Outpatient Pharmacy, and Health Parks in Central Florida Division-South). He/she will lead initiatives which transform the voice of the consumer into strategies that are developed, educated, deployed, and measured at the operational level to drive a preeminent experience of care. The Executive Director will build systems to assess leader and team member knowledge, skills, and abilities to determine appropriate continuous performance education and process/strategy interventions. The Executive Director will collaborate with matrixed departments including, but not limited to, Central Florida Division South AdventHealth Medical Group and Ambulatory Executive and Operational Leadership and Governance Structures, Primary Care Division, Clinical, System and Division Consumer Experience, People Systems, Leadership & Talent Development, Physician Leadership, Physician Enterprise, Communications, AdventHealth Informatics (AIT), Process Improvement, and Acute Care Hospitals. The Executive Director will lead a team of subject matter experts in Performance Development and Consumer Experience Strategy, including the Director of Consumer Initiatives, who will serve as partners to key stakeholders in championing service, process, and performance improvement through education, innovation, collaboration and change management. This position actively participates in exceptional internal and external customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. Responsible for developing and managing the assigned departmental budget. Oversees overall staffing for assigned area. Ensures staffing is effective and efficient and promotes core values. Assures that staff is representative of the population diversity through oversight of recruitment, selection, and retention of personnel. Ensures that staff are actively engaged in decisions within their scope of practice.
