About The Position

The Executive Director will provide operational leadership and strategic implementation of the Center's vision in collaboration with the Senior Minister and Board of Trustees. This part-time role requires a self-starter with strong communication, organization, and project management skills, who is passionate about serving in a collaborative environment.

Requirements

• Understanding of basic business operations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Management skills/experience.
• Organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Dropbox, Zoom, Slack, Survey Monkey, and YouTube, or a willingness to learn these applications.
• Must have own laptop or Mac.
• Availability on Sundays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day management of the Center for Spiritual Living Nashville (CSLN).
• Support the Senior Minister and the Board of Trustees in operating the Center.
• Attend all board meetings and planning sessions, ensuring follow-up on identified items.
• Responsible for written communication to the community, including newsletter entries from board items.
• Oversee activities of administrative, communication, marketing, production, and music staff, and evaluate staff performance.
• Interface with Unity Nashville for scheduling and joint events.
• Collaborate with marketing, education, youth, and production teams and volunteers for staffing and special events.
• Work with the Board to develop policies and procedures and communicate them to the community.
• Organize and create the annual Center calendar.
