About The Position

The Executive Director of Regional Operations Quality is responsible for operational and financial performance for the Great Lake Region. The Executive Director provides administrative and strategic direction to direct report regional Directors, Managers and support teams. Serve as primary AdventHealth contact to executive teams of regional hospital affiliates and attends strategic regional leadership meetings. Direct alignment of existing infrastructure in each region to processes, and reporting structure. Responsible for managing capital budgets and participating in new site development. Additionally, the Director of Regional Operations is responsible to create, develop and explore new business opportunities, new revenue streams, and new revenue streams throughout the country for the Great Lakes Region. Duties also include leading process improvement projects and managing projects related to new business opportunities. This individual must possess the skills to collaborate with regional CEO's around strategy development and execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Preferred
  • Master's Preferred
  • Ten or more years of Work Experience Preferred
  • Strategic vision and thinking.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret financial statements and business performance data and align business activities to achieve budget targets.
  • Exceptional people management, leadership skills, and the capacity to relate to people in a manner that wins confidence and establishes support.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally to internal and external constituents and public speaking.
  • Ability to think in Systems understanding how to integrate and align business units and complex systems to accomplish short term and long-term goals.
  • Knowledge of strategic health service market research/analytics and site placement strategies
  • Thorough understanding of the legal and regulatory requirements and mandates, and the ability to gather and evaluate data and outcome results to use in planning ambulatory operations, budgets, and expansion
  • Strong organizational abilities and the flexibility to adjust to changing conditions and the various details of the position.
  • Proficient computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office suite.
  • Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) Required

Responsibilities

  • Manages strategic operational and financial performance of service lines.
  • Directly supervises the operational leadership in each of the service lines.
  • Leads teams to improve existing systems and develop new clinic systems to enhance patient experience, team engagement, and fiscal performance.
  • Develops systems and processes to ensure brand standards and operational excellence are consistent across all regions and service lines.
  • Strategically identifies and evaluates new revenue streams for the service line, providing research, business plans, pro formas, request for proposals, reports, observations, and recommendations.
  • Develops capital, expense, and revenue budgets as well as routine and new center expenditures.
  • Other duties as assigned.
