About The Position

The Executive Director of Nursing Education is a 12-month, full-time staff position. Under the direct supervision of the Dean of the School of Health and Public Services, and under the general supervision of the Vice President of Academic Affairs/Chief Academic Officer, the Executive Director of Nursing Education acts as a mentor, coordinator, and facilitator for the Nursing faculty of the school, as they carry out the vision, mission, and goals of the School of Health and Public Services and the College. The Executive Director of Nursing Education provides academic leadership to the departments, motivates others, and facilitates change while effectively managing programs of learning, resources, and personnel. This individual promotes SPCC's mission by providing effective management and supervision of the Nursing programs, instruction, assessment, faculty training, and professional development.
