The Director, Information Technology (IT) will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the organization’s IT software systems, servers, data storage, security, and distributed equipment. The IT Director will be responsible for ensuring all systems are working efficiently and effectively. The IT Director will also take on the responsibility for “information custodian” to adhere to federal and state standards of data security. Cyber security management is a critical component of this position.

  • Implement IT access control standards in accordance with NIST and CMMC 2.0 requirements.
  • Implement IT policies and procedures to achieve and maintain certification levels.
  • Maintain control of all user software and user credentials to enforce security and compliance
  • Collaborate with VP Business Solutions to ensure that the organization’s IT infrastructure is aligned with the strategic goals and objectives for Team Housing Solutions.
  • Install, implement, and maintain the organization’s IT infrastructure (equipment and software).
  • Ensure the security of the organization’s IT infrastructure, data, and sensitive information.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in IT infrastructure management and provide recommendations for future developments (AI, ML, new technologies).
  • Design, install, and maintain IT infrastructure at all basecamps (Eagle, Alpha, Walker, and other future developments)
  • Provide designs and budgeted quotes for future IT infrastructure projects and work with project teams to respond to RFI/RFPs where IT infrastructure is needed
  • Move all third-party IT support from external to internal at THS
  • Audit and catalogue all IT equipment and ownership in a distributed workforce.
  • Provide real-time support for all user IT issues
  • Provide scheduled training for IT usage, security, and compliance
  • Work within the organization’s IT budget and suggest changes for future growth.
  • Plan future budgets and implement strategies to reduce and control IT costs
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, equivalent certification (MCSE, Core Infrastructure, Productivity, Data Management), or related work experience
  • At least 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure management.
  • Experience managing a team of IT professionals.
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure technologies, including servers, networks, cloud storage, and disaster recovery.
  • Strong knowledge of IT security hardware, software, and implementation, preferably in a government or military setting
  • Strong knowledge of remote management, mobile device management, and enterprise friendly system setups (auto loading application profiles and system settings)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to travel to base camps and other developing project sites as needed (at times without advanced notice) is mandatory.
