To learn more about our company, please visit our website; https://www.trulieve.com Requisition ID: 16694 Remote Work Available: No Trulieve Executive Director (FP&A) Position Overview We are seeking a high-impact Executive Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to lead financial planning, performance management, and M&A financial strategy in a high pace environment. This role requires deep expertise in financial modeling, M&A diligence, and post-deal integration, combined with the leadership skills to scale and manage a high-performing FP&A team. This role will report into the VP of Finance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in a financial planning capacity
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, planning, financial modeling and decision analytics
  • Knowledge of financial statements and the how changes in financial accounts flow through each statement
  • Familiarity with a quickly changing environment and ability to adapt on the fly
  • Ability to wear multiple hats -- act as a financial model guru, internal consultant and business strategist
  • Strengths in working across disciplines to present and instantly build rapport with stakeholders
  • A knack for taking raw data, analyzing, drawing conclusions, and developing actionable insights
  • Demonstrated success working both individually and within a team in a fast-paced, high-volume, deadline-oriented environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, to work effectively cross-functionally and with subsidiaries
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (i.e., pivot tables, VLookups, etc.)
  • Self-starter and able to quickly learn new responsibilities
  • High attention to detail required

Responsibilities

  • Lead FP&A including budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and variance analysis across all business units and acquisitions
  • Routine buildout of comprehensive 3-statement assumption-driven models for a diverse range of potential business opportunities (organic and inorganic expansion opportunities, new markets, additional revenue streams, etc.) as required
  • Support in delivering as needed ad hoc financial analysis to support corporate initiatives in cost management, M&A integration, strategic opportunities and any special projects for the executive team and/or board of directors
  • Lead financial due diligence processes, coordinating with external advisors and internal stakeholders
  • Build and maintain a fully-integrated financial statements projection model inclusive of balance sheet, income statement and statement of cash flows
  • Provide support in terms of company guidance of future key financial metrics to report to investment community
  • Collect, analyze, and disseminate industry, market, and competitive intelligence
  • Business partner to the Production team with tracking of all associated KPIs associated with cultivation and inventory to assist upper management in driving business decisions
  • Collaborate with business units to manage budgets, headcount reporting, and various special projects
  • Support those partners through data-driven insights to help make decisions and navigate challenges
  • Developing KPIs to track team- and company-level performance, and identifying opportunities for growth or increased efficiency
  • Build, maintain, and improve financial reporting to measure and track results against expectations
  • Communicate results and trends to management with appropriate recommendations for action when results drift from the forecast
  • Build, lead, and mentor a growing FP&A team with a focus on speed, accuracy, and business partnership
