About The Position

The Executive Director of Enrollment Services (EDES) serves as a leader to their campus and works closely with the Executive Director of Academic Operations (EDAO) to fulfill the College’s mission, 'to be the most student-centric college in the world' and its purpose, 'to provide people the opportunity to enhance their lives through education.' The EDES collaborates with the EDAO and the RVP of Enrollment Services (RVPES) in achieving the college and campus goals. They provide leadership of the admissions team and financial aid teams in achieving these outcomes including outstanding student service, enrollment growth, manpower efficiency, conversion metrics, and student persistence. The role involves overseeing the establishment, implementation, and monitoring of standards in the administrative departments including admissions, financial aid, and student facing services such as the admission coordinator. The EDES develops and monitors the effectiveness of growth initiatives and redirects as appropriate, routinely monitors and reviews with the team a dashboard of quality assurance, compliance, student service, and compliance metrics, and ensures effective implementation of the campus New Student Review (NSR) process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field or equivalent skills and experience.
  • Two years' leadership experience in higher education operations, such as Admissions, Student Services, or Business.
  • Proven record of leadership and achievement in higher education.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with the EDAO and the RVP of Enrollment Services (RVPES) in achieving the college and campus goals.
  • Provides leadership of the admissions team and financial aid teams in achieving outstanding student service, enrollment growth, manpower efficiency, conversion metrics, and student persistence.
  • Oversees the establishment, implementation, and monitoring of standards in the administrative departments including admissions, financial aid, and student facing services.
  • Develops and monitors the effectiveness of growth initiatives and redirects as appropriate.
  • Routinely monitors and reviews a dashboard of quality assurance, compliance, student service, and compliance metrics.
  • Facilitates training and professional development experiences for the admissions and financial aid teams.
  • Ensures effective implementation of the campus New Student Review (NSR) process.
  • Trains, hires, and staffs the front desk Admissions area.
  • Provides testing center access and reduces testing center downtime.
  • Orders Admission HESI (A2) tests in alignment with enrollment expectations.
  • Plans, coordinates, and executes New Student Orientation (NSO) for all new students.
  • Submits information for preparation of the annual operating and capital budget of admission staff and areas.
  • Works effectively in a matrix structure and collaborates with dotted line counterparts.
  • Ensures compliance with all federal and state accreditation rules and regulations.
