About The Position
The Executive Director of Nursing at Mercy Hospital Perry is responsible for the provision of nursing care in the respective division. This role directs the quality and resource management for areas of responsibility and is accountable for ensuring the implementation of current standards of practice and care. The Executive Director works collaboratively with physicians and other departments to achieve quality patient outcomes and is responsible for compliance with licensing and regulatory standards. Additionally, this position promotes professional nursing practice by ensuring competency validation and providing ongoing clinical continuing education opportunities. The Executive Director also participates in the development and implementation of strategic and business plans for areas of responsibility, performing duties in a manner consistent with Mercy's mission, values, and service standards.
