About The Position

The Role: As a Network Engineer within our team, you will partner with developers, testers, and program managers early in the development process. You will design, operate, grow, and enhance services offered to IS, non-IS, and clinical caregivers. You'll embody the roles of both a leader and a coach, instilling a cutting-edge service management mindset. This position demands an individual who can navigate ambiguity, drive strategy, and align business with IS goals.

Requirements

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience: 10+ years in related fields, with significant time leading technical teams.
  • Technical Proficiency: Deep knowledge of OSI stack, TCP/IP, WAN/Wireless networking, and modern networking standards.
  • Data-Driven Leader: Ability to leverage data and metrics to drive strategic decisions and improvements.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an aptitude for technical presentations.
  • Team Builder: Ability to build a diverse, high-performing team and foster an inclusive work environment.

  • Healthcare Expertise: Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Visionary: Influence division-wide caregiver and business themes, leading your group to define a service vision that delivers expected value.
  • Innovative Designer: Lead the creation of service designs that align with business objectives and allow for iterative improvement.
  • Industry Analyst: Anticipate industry trends, advising business leaders on innovative solutions to maintain competitive advantage.
  • Cross-functional Leader: Guide the development of service delivery models, incorporating market and technology trends.
  • Service Architect: Plan and design service delivery solutions, ensuring they are manageable, supportable, and meet KPIs.
  • Communication Strategist: Formulate the strategy for outbound messaging to boost adoption and support for solution/service portfolios.
  • Collaborative Strategist: Lead cross-profession work streams to develop successful business models and strategies.
  • Stakeholder Advocate: Define requirements and strategies to ensure stakeholder readiness and effective information management.
