About The Position
The Executive Director of Medical Staff Services (MSS) at MUSC is responsible for overseeing all functions related to credentialing, privileging, peer review operations, and evaluations within the healthcare system. This role involves managing the Medical Staff Office, Credentialing Verification Organization, and professional practices operations, while serving as the primary relationship manager for system executives regarding credentialing and peer review processes. The Executive Director will also lead policy development, maintain medical staff engagement, and ensure high-quality support services across the system.
