Live What you will do Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role you will be responsible for elevating the impact of marketing across Amgen globally. You will be leading Amgen’s Marketing Excellence team, including the end-to-end development and execution of all aspects of Amgen Brand Management (marketing transformation initiative) across the following key areas: Brand Building & Management: Lead the development of standards of excellence, drive the pull-through of standards in the brand planning process, and lead consulting engagements with affiliates/markets across critical steps of the marketing end-to-end process: Situation Analysis: Business Analysis, Customer Understanding Strategy: Positioning, Market Strategy, Customer Strategy Execution & Measurement: Message Development, Campaign Development, Customer Engagement, KPI & Performance Monitoring Talent Learning & Development: Lead Marketing Learning Ecosystem development, including the launch of Core Curriculum, New Hire Training etc. Manage Amgen’s Marketing Leadership Development Program (Amgen Brand Management Development Program) Lead other Marketing Talent Initiatives such as the Marketing Competency Model, Career Pathways, Technical Ladder development etc. Launch Community and Culture Initiatives (Summits, Awards etc.) Marketing Technology: Support broader marketing technology transformation efforts through training, talent, and change management pull-through Help drive vision for the Future of Marketing at Amgen, including unlocking the value of AI across the marketing process The Executive Director of Marketing Excellence will partner heavily with global and local brand teams and external thought-partners. This position will report to the Head of Global Marketing Capabilities and manage a team of ~8.
