About The Position

  • Ability to supervise a large team focused on leadership development and collaborate with district departments.
  • Strong strategic, functional, and operational planning skills, along with budgetary and project management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with district leaders to prepare a principal pipeline from teacher leader to principal.
  • Align goals, content, and vision to the larger leadership trajectory including executive director and deputy chiefs.
  • Develop, monitor, and provide feedback on leader professional development execution.
  • Work with division support teams to provide learning content aligned with instructional recommendations and strategies.
  • Create professional development content focused on data-driven instruction, coaching, and leadership development.
  • Provide regular reports to Chief of School Leadership and Deputy Chiefs on progress and recommendations for improvement.
  • Gather feedback on principal candidates and implement new ideas for service improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local policies and provide necessary training.
  • Serve as a spokesperson for the district at various engagements and in written communications regarding school improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with the implementation of school leadership initiatives.
