Position Summary: The Executive Director, Global Cell Therapy Organization (CTO), Franchise Strategy & Operations reports to the VP of CT Cross Functional Operations. This individual will act as the head of the CT Franchise Strategy & Operations team and serve as the Chief of Staff to the President of the CT Franchise. This role will support the Cell Therapy leadership team to streamline operations and enhance strategic decision-making to drive business performance. This role will be tasked to develop innovative solutions to simplify and track key events and deliverables across the matrix, proactively identify opportunities, and ensure those solutions are incorporated. This individual will also be responsible for leading a mix of direct and matrix reporting teams comprised of Strategy & Operations individuals that will support key operational needs of CTLT.

Requirements

  • BA/BS required.
  • 12+ years combined commercial experience across related commercial disciplines such as Marketing, Medical, Commercial Operations, Finance or Management Consulting

Nice To Haves

  • MBA, PharmD, or other graduate degree strongly preferred.
  • relevant experience in Cell Therapy is preferable.

Responsibilities

  • Proven leadership ability to build, lead and motivate a mix of direct and matrix high performance teams to deliver a diverse set of responsibilities.
  • Must be able to conceptualize and articulate a vision for the team that energizes all functional areas and stakeholders.
  • Support CTLT and CT Franchise Leadership to achieve critical business & key cross functional outcomes through effective processes, examples may include, but not limited to Executive Encounters, Budget Planning, Business Reviews, and critical BD Integrations.
  • Partner with Executive leadership team closely to align strategic workstreams across commercial, development, manufacturing and other enabling functions to maximize business delivery.
  • Acting as Chief of Staff to the President of Cell Therapy to orchestrate internal and external engagement planning to ensure deliverables are seamless and with enterprise maturity.
  • Drive strategic alignment and organizational engagement for rising priorities with agility
  • Lead CTLT governance structure, including agenda setting, prioritization of topics, and alignment to enterprise vision and strategic imperatives.
  • Serve as a business partner CT leaders and teams across the enterprise drive effective decision-making and resource allocation.
  • Implement the D-A-I decision-making model to ensure clarity of roles and accountability.
  • Lead the Strategy & Operations Community of Practice to drive efficiency and connectivity across S&O by fostering best practices, reducing duplication, and accelerating strategic execution; align activities to annual milestones and initiatives to deliver measurable enterprise impact.
  • Proactively Identify areas of synergy, best practice, and opportunity for improvement across the Franchises and across the matrix and implement solutions accordingly.
  • Lead a team to deliver CTLT communications (e.g., Townhalls) and CTLT development & communication activities.
  • Own the monthly CTLT KPI and report performance to CTLT and BMS LT.
  • Ensure high-quality metrics, continuous improvement updates, and clear actions are captured, communicated, and closed.
  • Serve on the S&O CTLT team to connect with Enterprise S&O on broader strategy and operations initiatives; surface insights and implications and bring them back to CTLT to inform decisions and accelerate execution.
