About The Position

MV Advancements (MVA), a nonprofit dedicated to empowering adults with disabilities across Yamhill, Marion, and Polk counties, invites visionary leaders to apply for the role of Executive Director. For over 50 years, MVA has been a trusted partner for customized employment services, residential support, and day services, creating opportunities for independence and fulfillment. As Executive Director, you will lead a mission-driven organization rooted in community values and driven by innovation, compassion, and integrity.

Requirements

  • A mission-driven leader with 7+ years in senior management, preferably in nonprofit organizations.
  • Experienced in budgeting, fundraising, and public relations, with exceptional communication skills.
  • Knowledgeable about the developmental disabilities sector and committed to person-centered service delivery.
  • A strategic thinker with a servant leadership style, entrepreneurial spirit, and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Relationship-focused, valuing collaboration with employees, board members, community partners, and government agencies.

Responsibilities

  • Shape and execute the strategic vision of MVA in collaboration with the Board of Directors.
  • Lead a dynamic and committed team, fostering a culture of inclusion, innovation, and excellence.
  • Oversee diverse programs, ensuring they align with the needs of those we support while meeting compliance standards.
  • Drive financial sustainability through effective budgeting, fundraising, and community partnerships.
  • Represent MVA as a visible and engaged advocate, building relationships at the local and state level.
