About The Position

Serves as Europe operations manager, coordinator, and planner. Works closely with campus directors and staff in all aspects of administrative operations. Supports and represents the Vice Chancellor in Europe in all functions of that position. Enforces administrative procedures. Projects a positive university image as related to administrative affairs. Provides positive and effective leadership to Europe staff (and PACOM when needed) culminating in quality educational programs consistent with cost effective and efficient operations. Promotes a positive University image at all times. Promotes excellence in student services throughout all Europe locations (and in PACOM when needed). Supports the University’s team environment and participates as a team member.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • Strong analytical skills with in-depth knowledge of information systems.
  • Technical proficiency in Microsoft operating systems and Microsoft Office applications, including Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook/email, and internet-based end-user applications.
  • Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and apply insights to support operational and strategic decision-making.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of related professional experience.

Responsibilities

  • Enforce university administrative standards, policies, and procedures to ensure campuses operate efficiently and effectively while achieving institutional goals, including enrollment targets.
  • Oversee campus administrative operations to maintain high standards of performance and service delivery.
  • Lead orientation and professional development initiatives for campus staff, both virtually and in person.
  • Serve as liaison with government partners to ensure contract compliance and successful fulfillment of required deliverables.
  • Support campus events, outreach activities, meetings, and leadership engagements, including travel and use of a personal vehicle as required.
  • Facilitate remote campus checkpoints and provide operational support to PACOM locations as needed.
  • Monitor and analyze student lifecycle data dashboards; identify trends and provide strategic guidance to strengthen retention, persistence, and outreach initiatives (e.g., unit briefings, mobile office hours, unit courses).
  • Maintain awareness of local factors and military operations that may impact voluntary education programs and campus performance.
  • Coordinate with ERAU Worldwide headquarters and maintain communication with state approving agencies, regulatory bodies, Department of Veterans Affairs regional offices, federal authorities, and accrediting agencies to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and institutional policies.
  • In collaboration with the Campus Academic Standards and Review Committee, support resolution of employee and student grievance matters in accordance with University and Worldwide procedures.
  • Partner with the HQ Leadership Team on assigned committees and strategic initiatives, including New Hire Training and Communications planning.
  • Assist with academic scheduling processes, including annual course scheduling, faculty coordination, and troubleshooting in-person course delivery challenges.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of military services and associated education organizations.
  • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Communicate effectively with students, faculty, staff, senior university leaders, accrediting agencies, military officials, government representatives, and corporate partners.
  • Provide professional, high-quality customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Foster cooperative and collaborative working relationships across all organizational levels.
  • Work independently as a self-starter while contributing effectively in a team environment.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills and effectively manage multiple priorities.
  • Proactively identify and address emerging priorities; perform duties beyond those directly assigned and support colleagues as needed.
  • Adapt quickly to evolving policies, procedures, and operational requirements; effectively learn and apply advancements in information systems.
  • Investigate issues, research solutions, resolve problems, and ensure appropriate follow-up on corrective actions.
  • Maintain a positive and professional presence and represent the University with integrity.
  • Handle complex or sensitive matters with tact while maintaining composure under pressure.
  • Seek guidance as appropriate to ensure effective performance of responsibilities.
  • Assist in coordinating meetings, events, and leadership visits.
