About The Position

The Executive Director of Corporate Philanthropy at Syracuse University is responsible for overseeing all philanthropic relationships with external corporate entities. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree; advanced degree preferred.
• A minimum of 10 years of successful experience in major gift fundraising, preferably in a college setting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to strategize and execute corporate/donor centric solicitations.
• Independent and collaborative critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

• Experience in non-academic organizations with a successful track record in fundraising.
• Valid Driver's license and passport.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all philanthropic relationships with external corporate entities for the university.
• Facilitate corporate engagement strategy and identify new philanthropic partnerships.
• Manage a portfolio of 25 - 30 key corporate prospects and secure institutional support through various means.
• Collaborate with campus units to translate academic and athletic programs into opportunities for corporate support.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive moves management and solicitation plans for corporate prospects.
• Provide strategic guidance on cultivation and solicitation of corporate prospects for gifts.
• Utilize database systems to update strategic plans and manage corporate relations activities.
