About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified individual to join ADARx Pharmaceuticals as an Executive Director, Clinical Development (MD) to serve as a key clinical leader responsible for driving the strategy, design, and execution of late-stage clinical programs across one or more of ADARx's therapeutic areas. The AVP will provide strong scientific and medical leadership for clinical trials, collaborating cross-functionally with R&D, regulatory, biometrics, and commercial teams. This individual will also represent ADARx externally to regulatory agencies, key opinion leaders, and partners. This role is eligible for an annual target bonus and annual equity awards. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements. Actual base salary pay will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, type and length of experience within the industry, and other job-related factors permitted by law. Total Compensation includes base salary; benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; 401(k) matching program; paid time off; paid holidays; Employee Assistance Program; and other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including but not limited to cash bonuses. Following a conditional offer of employment, satisfactory completion of a background check (including criminal records check) is required prior to beginning employment. Requirements

MD (or equivalent medical degree) is required; board certification preferred.
7-10+ years of clinical development experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry.
Experience leading programs in mid- to late-stage (Phase 2 and Phase 3) development required.
Proven track record in clinical study execution and regulatory interactions.
Strong understanding of biostatistics, data interpretation, and clinical operations.
Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Must be able to work independently with supervision as needed.
Must be collaborative, self-starting, and flexible.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for this role.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and exercise discretion.
Adaptable / Flexible - willing and able to adjust to multiple demands and shifting priorities as well as an ability to meet day-to-day challenges.
Understand project timelines and deliverables and plans/coordinate project work accordingly with departmental, functional, and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Lead and provide strategic oversight for the planning and execution of late-stage clinical trials (Phases 1, 2, and Phase 3) for one or more programs across multiple therapeutic areas.
Serve as the medical monitor for clinical studies, ensuring safety data review, protocol compliance, and high-quality data output.
Author and review key clinical documents including protocols, IBs, CSRs, regulatory submissions, and scientific publications.
Contribute to the development of clinical development plans (CDPs), target product profiles (TPPs), and overall program strategies.
Engage and collaborate with regulatory authorities, KOLs, and external experts.
Participate in due diligence and business development assessments as needed.
Manage and mentor a growing team of clinicians and clinical scientists.
Collaborate with preclinical, translational, and biomarker teams to support data integration and decision-making.
Ensure that all clinical activities are conducted in compliance with ICH-GCP, FDA regulations, and ADARx SOPs.
